Recorded Crime
Police forces in England and Wales are required to send police recorded crime data to the Home Office. The following analysis takes this quarterly data over the period September 2012 to September 2015, and presents it at the local authority level on a per head basis (using mid year population estimates for 2012, 2013 & 2014). Rural averages are provided for comparison purposes.
