Retrofit information, support & expertise (RISE)
RISE is a free service funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). We provide training, guidance and support to help social housing providers and local authorities to plan and deliver retrofit programmes funded by the Warm Homes grant schemes. We also provide resources for suppliers, distributors and installers of retrofit measures under these schemes.
BT
Landlines in the UK are going digital and by January 2027, most calls will be made over broadband.
BT has worked closely with charities and representative groups, including the Rural Services Network, who have been advising on the needs of customers most affected by the switch, and as a result, BT is taking steps to give customers the best possible experience.
National Innovation Centre For Rural Enterprise (NICRE)
NICRE puts knowledge to work for an enterprising countryside. NICRE combines research with practical innovation to find new ways of unlocking potential and supporting thriving rural businesses and communities.
