Advice service extends to rural communities

The Gazette and Herald reports that Citizens Advice Mid North Yorkshire’s Rural Advice Van is now visiting venues across the district following the success of a pilot scheme in Hambleton and Richmondshire

The charity has invited partner organisations such as Warm and Well in North Yorkshire and Ryedale Community Connect to collaborate in providing this remote service.

The van is equipped with an experienced Citizens Advice adviser to give information and advice to residents in rural areas who are currently unable to visit their offices.
