An update from Sedgemoor District Council on affordable housing development

Affordable Housing is provided to help people who cannot afford to buy or rent homes on the open market

The homes remain affordable to subsequent occupiers in the future.

These homes can be provided by the Council, Housing Association some private landlords and increasingly, direct from house builders.

Sedgemoor District Council's Housing Development Team works with Developers, Housing Associations and Parish and Town Councils to provide both market and affordable housing across Sedgemoor.

The Housing Development Team also runs Sedgemoor's new build council house programme.
