Attack launched on fair funding review
During Prime Minister’s Questions last week, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said that the current fair funding formula ‘will make poorer areas even poorer’ and claimed the Prime Minister had ‘pushed councils to the brink’, as reported by The MJ.
In particular, Corbyn took issue with removing deprivation as a factor, which would hit councils in poorer areas the hardest.
