Location: Yorkshire and the Humber Population: 534,300 (2016) Interesting fact: In 1642 Civil war between King and Paliament came to the area. Bradford supported the Parliament but they were on there own as the surounding towns were for the King. They tried to take Bradford twice but the towns people drove them off (the towns people hung sacks of wool round the church to save it from cannon Fire)
