The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) has urged planning authorities to directly inform residents living in areas where green belt could be lost under the Black Country Plan, to ensure they have a chance to address concerns or lodge any objections.
The Black Country plan will set in place spatial goals for new development within the region, impacting housing, healthcare, employment, education, and transport.
The public consultation began on the 16th of August and will run until the 11th of October.
