Community bus scheme back up and running

The Epping Forest Guardian reports that, a community bus scheme for people living in rural areas of Epping and Harlow is back up and running after reduced service due to the pandemic

The charity, Epping Forest & Harlow Community Transport (EHCT), helps local people who are unable to use conventional public transport such as those who are rurally isolated.

With the help of the Essex Community Foundation and their fundholders, the charity was able to survive the challenges of lockdown and is now recruiting for new volunteers to help meet renewed demand of its bus services.
