Community Group - Services

The Rural Services Community is a unique part of our network which has been set up as a result of the local authorities that form part of the Rural Services Network.


When a District or Unitary authority joins the Rural Services Network, all of the Town and Parish Councils within their boundaries are automatically registered as part of the Rural Services Community.


The Rural Services Community also includes Schools and Chambers of Commerce within the Local Authority boundaries.

Neighbourhood Planning Neighbourhood Planning statistics to help in the preparation of your community or neighbourhood plan.









 Opps Bulletin E-newsletters providing regular topic and sector bulletins and monthly roundup of funding opportunities available.









 Best Practice  Library of rural best practice.









State of Rural Services Biennial Examination of Rural Services and their operation throughout England









 Seminars A number of Seminars for Officers and Members to attend throughout England on a range of rural topics with expert speakers and practitioners.









 Sounding Board Sounding Board of Rural Councillors responding to surveys to provide cohesive rural opinions.
