Data that makes a difference: Dan Jones joins the RSN

The Rural Services Network is pleased to welcome Dan Jones, who joined our team last week in a Data and Finance Administrative Support role.

Dan brings a wealth of experience in managing, analysing and presenting data — skills that are a perfect fit for this role, which supports the RSN’s vital work championing rural communities across England. With a background in data-driven administration and a keen interest in rural policy, Dan will play a key role in helping us to continue delivering high-quality services to our growing membership.

Dan has already got stuck in — working with our team to gather and analyse key datasets that help build a truer, more detailed picture of life in rural areas. This work is crucial in supporting our members and strengthening our case to government and other stakeholders.

Dan is passionate about using data to tell stories and support decision-making — an essential part of our work in highlighting both the needs and opportunities of rural communities. His arrival strengthens our small, fully remote team as we continue to drive forward the RSN’s mission.
