Nominations are now open for the 15th annual Cllr Awards – the only national awards ceremony that celebrates the work of councillors across England and Wales. The deadline for all nominations is just over a month away on Friday 13th September.

This year’s categories are Community Champion, Leader of the Year, Young Councillor of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Lifetime Legend. 

Nominations can be made by anyone – including members of the public, councillors and council officers – who would like to recognise a councillor who has gone above and beyond in representing their area over the last year. It only takes seven minutes to apply and is completely free of charge.
