How could offering workspaces help rural pubs survive and thrive?

A study funded by the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) has researched the potential for pubs to diversify into providing workspace to broaden their income.

Led by the University of Lincoln in partnership with the Plunkett Foundation, the project gathered the views of pub managers, trade bodies and homeworkers to explore whether offering ‘work from the pub’ to remote and homeworkers could not only help meet the needs of post-pandemic ways of working, but support pubs to survive and thrive.
