Mobile UK, the industry group representing the interests of mobile network operators, has joined Rural Services Network, according to telecommunications trade publication Telecompaper

The report outlines how the move will help Mobile UK work with rural services to support the long-term development of mobile services in rural communities.

The report also outlines how the Rural Services Network currently includes 155 rural market towns and larger parishes; 213 organisations in England as part of the Rural Services Partnership; 17 local authorities in rural assembly membership; and 104 local authorities in sparse membership.
