National Rural Conference 22 – Open for bookings!

The Rural Services Network is pleased to announce the line-up for the National Rural Conference 2022

Focusing on the overall theme of Reducing Rural Inequalities and Improving Opportunities, the conference aims to bring together Senior Officers and Members from our rural local authorities and those delivering rural services from our member organisations, to discuss, network and learn from each other.

We are delighted to yet again feature a session with the Rt Hon Lord Benyon, the Minister for Rural Affairs, Access to Nature and Biosecurity where delegates will be able to hear his views on the challenges facing rural communities.

The week will include sessions each morning, focusing on different topics of key interest to RSN membership including:

  • Rural Transport
  • Rural Economic Regeneration
  • Rural Health and Care
  • Rural Affordable Housing
  • Rural Net Zero

We also have a session by the RSN on Reducing Rural Inequalities and Improving Opportunities along with a dedicated session on the Rural Cost of Living Crisis.

The National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) is supporting the Rural Conference this year and will be speaking at the session on Rural Regeneration.

We also welcome sponsors AirbandGemserve and Oftec to the event.

The conference is free to attend for members of our rural local authorities and members of the Rural Services Partnership.
