NICRE - Open call for Research and Innovation

The National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE), have recently launched a open Research and Innovation funding call

NICRE aims to foster rural enterprise and unlock potential in the UK’s rural economies, and shift the existing policy narrative.

This call seeks to complement, and extend, NICRE’s research and evidence base on four rural enterprise priorities: Productive, Smart, Engaged, Resilient.

Projects will seek to improve rural business productivity and solve associated grand challenges. They should take place over a maximum period of up to 6 to 8 months and relate to, at least, one of the four four priority areas for NICRE.

Each project can seek funding up to a maximum of £15,000.
