Postal services play a key role in our society. They are used by almost everyone in the UK on a regular basis, from online shopping deliveries, to receiving important medical correspondence, to sending cards to friends and relatives.

This consultation sets out Ofcom’s proposals for the regulation of postal services from 2022 to 2027. the aim is to support the financial sustainability and efficiency of the universal postal service, promote competition and improve protection for consumers.
