Keeping rural communities connected

Bus services provide a lifeline to people, especially those that live in rural areas connecting them into their local towns and ensure that they are not disadvantaged by living in rural areas to reach employment, essential services and education. We understand that people living in rural areas have longer to travel access services often at a great cost to those living in more urban areas.

We are your local friendly bus service that connects people living in rural areas into their local towns.

We can take people direct to the door of the supermarket, group meet ups such as Chatty Café Scheme, local groups such as Carers Lunches, Veterans coffee mornings, libraries and into the town centres.

Ability has supported the Ukraine families who have settled in the rural areas of the counties providing accessible transport. We have also provided transport for Afghan families so that they can attend meet ups to help build social networks.

Our buses have been classed as a social club on wheels. People look forward to the opportunity to enjoy a good catch up on the bus whilst not having to worry about pay by phone parking or congested town centres. We have members from a few months old to over 100 hundred years and we can accommodate walkers, shopping trolleys and foldable push chairs.

The bus service is available 5 days a week across the rural communities of West Northamptonshire and North Oxfordshire providing a weekly bus service to Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Banbury and Northampton.

Great news the bus is open to everyone!!!

Concessionary passes accepted and non bus pass holders will be charged a mileage fare.
