Reed in Partnership’s mission is to positively transform people and their communities. We provide services to help people find a job, improve their health, develop their skills and fulfil their potential. Hundreds of thousands of people across the UK have benefited from accessing a Reed in Partnership service and using it to change their lives for the better.
We were launched in a single office in Hackney, London, in April 1998, as one of the first employment support service providers in the UK. As our performance and expertise grew, we expanded to deliver employment services across the UK. Since then we have diversified our services across other sectors, such as health and wellbeing, youth services, justice, advice and guidance, e-assessment services and business support. We are part of the REED Group, the UK’s largest family-owned recruitment brand.
Many of the services we provide for national and local government are in highly rural areas of the UK, such as Cornwall, East Anglia or Northumberland. These include Restart, the Government’s new flagship service to support long-term unemployed people, which Reed delivers in the North East of England and the Home Counties. We work with a great many local organisations in rural areas and are always keen to make new relationships and form partnerships in the areas where we work. We also have a programme of continuous improvement and research work focusing on issues of most important to our participants, such as rural transport or health services.
