On Saturday 14, Culture Secretary Nicky Morgan announced the 69 locations that would receive support from the £95 million fund for high streets around the country. The money is the Government’s largest single investment in the UK’s built heritage and will be used to transform disused historic buildings into shops, houses and community centres.

The Government has launched a nationwide scheme to help local businesses prepare for Brexit. Local businesses across the UK will receive tailored advice and support on preparing for Brexit as part of a series of nationwide events that were launched on Monday 16 September. Advisors from all relevant government departments will be at each event to provide practical advice and support at the Brexit Business Readiness Events Roadshow as part of the ‘Get Ready for Brexit’ campaign. Over 30 events will take place around the country across five weeks.
