Rural Related Politics - An RSN weekly review

Below is an RSN review of last week's rural related politics as well as a look forward to the week ahead:

Last week in politics 
(15 April - 19 April)

Parliament was in recess last week.

This week in politics (23 April -  26 April)

Parliament returns from recess on Tuesday 23 April.

On Tuesday 23 the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Adult Social Care meets.

On Wednesday 24 the Transport Committee hears evidence from Local Roads Minister Jesse Norman MP on local roads funding and governance. Elsewhere, the Public Accounts Committee hears evidence on NHS waiting times for elective and cancer care. The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills and Employment holds a roundtable discussion on the new T Levels, chaired by Nic Dakin MP.

On Thursday 25 there will be a debate in Westminster Hall on the sustainability of the Post Office network. In the House of Commons Main Chamber there will be a debate on school funding. Also on Thursday, the Lords Committee on Intergenerational Fairness and Provision will publish its final report.

On Saturday 27, the Lords Rural Economy Committee will publish its final report.
