Rural Services Network: Our Year In Review

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back on a year shaped by shared learning, collaboration and a strong collective voice for rural communities. Across our membership, the RSN has continued to champion fair funding, influence national policy, and bring people together to tackle the issues that matter most.

This year saw hundreds of members take part in our seminar and meeting programmes, exploring everything from rural net zero and connectivity to housing, transport and health and care.

Our National Rural Conference welcomed 744 delegates from 159 organisations, generating more than 1,400 hours of shared learning and debate on key rural challenges and opportunities.

We continued to publish a wide range of briefings, spotlights and the weekly Rural Bulletin, while launching the Delivering for All survey to ensure rural realities shape decision-making in 2026

Throughout the year, RSN evidence informed parliamentary debates, APPG activity, government consultations, national media coverage and wider cross-sector forums, strengthening the rural voice across the policy landscape.

None of this impact would be possible without the continued support, expertise and commitment of our members and partners. Thank you for your engagement, your insights, and your determination to ensure that rural communities are heard and represented.

We look forward to working with you in 2026 and to sharing our short Year in Review video highlighting the milestones we’ve achieved together.
