Rural tourism experiencing boom due to pandemic travel restrictions

The Guardian reports on a surge in demand for rural holidays in counties, such as Staffordshire and Worcestershire, in light of restrictions to foreign holidays due to the pandemic

According to the report, there has been a 300% spike in demand for camping and caravan trips to Staffordshire.

AirBnB reported that rural retreats have accounted for nearly half of all bookings this year, up from 23% two years ago.
