RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) is the charity at the heart of farming, providing expert practical, financial and emotional support to the farming community in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

At the core of our mission is our dedication to addressing the individual needs of farming people. Therefore, we offer one-on-one support, advice and guidance tailored the unique circumstances of those who reach out to us.

Financial Support

RABI supports low-income farming people with their personal finances, as well as eligible farming people during times of financial crisis, awarding around £3 million in direct financial assistance each year.

Practical Support

We offer professional advice and guidance relating to benefits, the state welfare system, housing, budgeting and debt relief.

Emotional Support

In light of our Big Farming Survey results, we launched a range of emotional support services to help improve the mental wellbeing of farming people. These include:

• Bespoke mental health counselling that can be accessed in person, over the phone or via video call.
• Click & Chat counselling, along with a wide range of online mental health support forums and tools is also available 24/7 via our online wellbeing platform.
• Accredited mental health training to help everyone feel more comfortable to talk openly about our mental health.
