In particular, registered waste removal businesses in the South West have become concerned about the number of ‘man and van’ adverts and self-promotion on Facebook and other social media platforms offering to take away people’s rubbish.
The news comes as people in rural areas have seen a worrying rise in fly-tipping and rubbish during lockdown.
