Community Catalysts launches a marketing guide for enterprises doing good stuff

Community Catalysts have launched a new marketing guide especially for people who are running small enterprises offering care or support to others – otherwise known as community enterprises.

From a community enterprise perspective, the focus (rightly so) is on the hands-on, people part of the role with marketing sometimes taking a back seat. With this in mind, Community Catalysts has made their new guide simple and easy to follow.

“Marketing is simply about how you tell others about your community enterprise and the fantastic things you can offer.”

The guide is chunked into separate sections so people can dip in and out of it as suits. It covers all the basics like social media, business cards, flyers, websites, local directories, ads….and so much more – have a scroll through and find the sections that are right for you and your community enterprise.

Community Catalysts produced the content with help from community enterprises to make sure the content is relevant and useful. Because of this, they have been able to include some insider tips to help people get the most out of their marketing and grow their own community enterprises.

“Sell the benefit and not the product: ‘I can support you to keep your house the way you want it’, is friendlier than simply saying ‘help with household tasks’”

Take a look at the guide here. Community Catalysts would love to hear what you think.
